Manche werden meinen – das kennen wir doch – die letzten Jahre – diese ständigen Blockaden, wo dann mit Wasserkanonen und Schiffs-Abdrängungen heftig agiert wurde (war schon oftmals im Fernsehen= also nichts Neues).

Die letzten Jahre haben die Schiffe der China- Küstenwache genau solche Aktionen (siehe vorig) in genau dieser Gegend, oftmals durchgeführt – völlig richtig (und das war auch im Fernsehen und im Internet zu sehen).

Die maritime Konfrontation zwischen China, Japan, den Philippinen und den USA ist innerhalb der ersten Inselkette zur Normalität geworden. Blockade und Warnung an die USA und die Philippinen: Können die Zerstörer der Burke-Klasse den Fregatten des Typs 052D und 054A etwas entgegensetzen?

The Arleigh Burke class of guided-missile destroyers (DDGs) is a United States Navy class of destroyers centered around the Aegis Combat System and the SPY-1D multifunction passive electronically scanned array radar. The class is named after Arleigh Burke, an American destroyer admiral in World War II and later Chief of Naval Operations. With an overall length of 505 to 509.5 feet (153.9 to 155.3 m), displacement ranging from 8,300 to 9,700 tons, and weaponry including over 90 missiles, the Arleigh Burke-class destroyers are larger and more heavily armed than many previous classes of guided-missile cruisers.

China-Fregatte 052D:

The Type 052D destroyer (NATO/OSD reporting name: Luyang III-class destroyer) is a class of guided-missile destroyers in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), and currently one of the most numerous principal surface combatant classes in service of the PLAN Surface Force.
The Type 052D is a larger variant of the Type 052C, and has flat-paneled active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, The Type 052D uses a canister-type (instead of 052C’s revolver-type) vertical launching system (VLS), which is not limited to surface-to-air missiles, making it China’s first dedicated multi-role destroyer.

China-Fregatte 054A:

The Type 054A (NATO/OSD Jiangkai II) is a class of guided-missile frigate from the People’s Republic of China. It is a development of the Type 054 frigate; compared to its predecessor, the Type 054A has medium-range air defense capability in the form of Type 382 radar and vertically launched (VLS) HHQ-16 surface-to-air missiles.
The first ship (Xuzhou) of the new Type 054A was laid down in 2005 and entered service with the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) in January 2008; the class was a key component of the PLAN’s surface fleet by the late 2010s. Production was ongoing in 2023, with 30 ships in service by mid 2019, while the next batch of 10 ships commissioned from 2022 onwards, and a final batch of 10 ships under development, although this last batch may be built to the follow-on Type 054B frigate design.
