Artikel 1:
African Union says Israel’s observer status suspended
AU Commission chief confirms Israel was not invited to the weekend summit where Israeli ambassador was removed.

‘Go Away’ – African Union Prevents Israeli Delegation from Entering Headquarters
According to Al-Jazeera, the AU refused the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in its meetings.
This is not the first time an Israeli delegation has been prevented from participating in an African Union Summit.
Israel was readmitted as an observer country to the pan-African bloc in 2021. In January 2022, however, Algerian diplomats introduced a motion to revoke Israel’s newly reinstated observership.

Artikel 3:
On the eve of the African summit in Addis Ababa, the African Union banned an Israeli delegation from entering its headquarters.
This comes after sources in the Ethiopian capital, where the 37th African Summit began on Wednesday, confirmed that an Israeli delegation is participating secretly in this summit.
The delegation comprises the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yaakov Blitstein, and the Director of the Africa Management Department, Amit Bayas.
