Der kanadische Premierminister hat den Ausnahmezustand verhängt.
Das ist politisch heftig umstritten, weil die meisten Gouverneure diesen eigentlich für unnötig halten.
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney told reporters, “We would prefer that the emergency act not be invoked. But if it is, we would very much prefer that it not be applied to Alberta. It’s not needed. It could make the situation even more complicated.” Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe stated that the police already have the tools required to remove illegal blockades, therefore, “Saskatchewan does not support the Trudeau government invoking the Emergencies Act.” NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh supports Trudeau’s decision but said it points to a larger problem with the Trudeau Administration. “The fact that the Prime Minister is resorting to this measure is proof of a failure of leadership. The reason why we got to this point is because the Prime Minister let the siege of Ottawa go on for weeks and weeks without actually doing anything about it,” Singh told the press. “He allowed the convoy to shutdown borders without responding appropriately and in doing so, has allowed the convoy to dig in and get entrenched.”

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said banks are obligated to flag, freeze, or suspend accounts financing the “illegal blockades.”
Chrystia Freeland, the deputy prime minister and finance minister, said that credit card companies will be required to report any activity that could be intended to help the protestors to Canada’s anti-money laundering agency. All vehicles involved will have their insurance suspended. Fundraising sites are not allowed to raise money to support the cause. Anyone can be accused of conspiring with the protestors and their funds will be frozen.

Toronto-Dominion Bank made the move after the Ontario Superior Court of Justice issued an order barring the dispersal of convoy donations made through GiveSendGo, which has raised more than $9.2 million for convoy supporters.
A spokeswoman for the bank confirmed the funds were seized in accordance with last Thursday’s court ruling.

Kanada ist hier Vorreiter und Beispielgeber für die neue / alte Art politischer Kriegsführung – um politische Gegner auszuschalten.

Tatsächlich ist es so, dass man sich fragt, wie das weitergehen soll.
Kanada hat das Kanada- Terroristen- Gesetz (siehe obig BBC- Bericht), nun als Waffe gegen die eigenen Bürger – als Waffe gegen unliebsame politische Aktivitäten – eingesetzt.
Aktuell ist es so, dass schon Facebook- Einträge die Sympathie für die Proteste bekunden, zu Polizeibesuchen führen können, weil man damit als “Terrorist” gilt.
Kanada ist das erste Land, das diesen Schritt gesetzt hat – andere Länder des Westens werden wohl diesem Beispiel folgen.
Beachten sie, dass im deutschen Bundestag die AfD- Fraktion de Facto vom Parlamentsbetrieb ausgeschlossen wurde, in dem man die 2-G-Regel einführte. Die meisten AfD- Politiker-innen sind nicht geimpft – also können sie nicht mehr an Parlaments- und Ausschuss- Sitzungen teilnehmen.
Ein Verbot der AfD ist erst vor kurzem gefordert worden. Wie lang die Bankkonten der AfD noch funktionieren – wird man sehen.
Wie bekannt, gilt Trudeau in Europa als ein Vorbild- Politiker, der in der Vergangenheit auch schon den Titel, “Führer der Freien Welt” erhalten hatte. Die Aktivitäten gelten deshalb in Europa als demokratische Notwendigkeit.
Während in Europa, diese Maßnahmen von vielen Politikern gelobt und verteidigt werden, und als Ausdruck der “wehrhaften Demokratie” dargestellt werden (vielleicht plant man schon ähnliches für Europa?), sehen das manche US- Kommentatoren anders – hier vom in Europa sehr negativ bewerteten Sender Fox:
